NPFAAA Honors Talitha Hampton with the 2022 Community Service Award

Talitha Hampton (Class of 2000) was selected as the National Pine Forge Academy Alumni Association 2022 Community Service Award Honoree. This award recognizes an alumnus who has demonstrated and documented true humanitarian service and have made significant contributions in the local, national, or international community. The honoree serves as a role model to PFA students and the alumni community for compassion, and service to PFA and society at large.

"Thank you to the Pine Forge Academy Alumni association for the community service award and recognition. It was such a special honor to be recognized by family. Congratulations to D’Andre

Larry, Michael Buckham-White, Tiffany Brissett , Bianca Hall, Elton Lester, Lawrence Martin, & William T. Johnson. Special thanks to my family for coming to support and for my sister, Makeda Hampton , for surprising me with her beautiful rendition of my favorite hymn, 'If I could Help Somebody' (thank goodness for water proof make-up). Finally, thank you to Sokoni Scott and team for a wonderful event and for your service to our Alma Mater".

The awardees were recognized in an in-person ceremony during the NPFAAA Alumni Awards Ceremony on September 3, 2022. Each awardee shared remarks with the audience members including students. View the text and video of her acceptance speech here.
